Open House is Well Attended!Left to right: Former Principal Steven Giudici, Wendy Himenes, Roshni Easley, Fremont Mayor Lily Mei, FUSD Superintendent Kim Wallace, Jan Bauchou and Current FACE Principal Heidi McFadden
FACE's Adults with Disabilities Program was pleased and very honored to have Fremont Mayor Lily Mei and Fremont Unified School District Superintendent Kim Wallace attend our annual Holiday Open House. The Adults with Disabilities students work diligently to make decorations and arts and crafts, as well as grow plants to sell at the Open House. Proceeds from the sale of these items are used to support various field trips and events for the program throughout the year. The students also make all of the food and greet guests as they arrive. Thank you Mayor Mei and Superintendent Wallace for your support.
FACE Donations for those in need
This years donation drive was nothing but abundance! The outpouring of generosity was spectacular with donated goods practically filling the ESL office. Shown here are some of the student helpers and the abundance of donated goods. This is the second such batch of donated goods FACE has processed since November!
All of these goods were donated to Tri-Cities Volunteers, Inc.
FOOD BANK/THRIFT STOREMany people from FACE made generous donations and/or helped load the goods onto the truck. Here students from Lillian's and Grace's classes help the volunteer driver load the goods!FACE Gives our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the many people that generously donated goods and to those who helped in various ways to make this years donation drive a great success - Thanks to you all!
