Heidi McFaddenHeading We are so excited for another new school year here at FACE! We have some wonderful, free or low-cost training programs for adults in our community. If you are interested in starting a new career, please see
the Career and Technical Education Programs section of this website.
We have training programs for banking, Quickbooks, welding, and a preparation course to become a paraprofessional. If you simply want to improve your computer skills, join our Google Workspace class.
Our English as a Second Language (ESL) program continues to help adults from all over the world improve their English language skills and advance to career or college pathways. We are currently offering a program for our ESL students to prepare them to enter into Mission Valley Regional Occupational Program’s Pharmacy Technician Training. This year, we will be extending this offering toalso prepare our ESL students to enter into CalRegional’s Phlebotomy and Clinical Medical Assisting programs.
Other programs that we proudly offer are our Adult Basic Education, GED, or High School Diploma courses that provide the necessary academic skills to ensure that adults are ready to move into the
world of post-secondary education. Our more specialized programs include Mommy, Daddy, and Me, in which parents of pre-school aged children learn essential parenting skills and early childhood development strategies.
The Adults with Disabilities Program serves approximately 60 students,
providing them with continuous academic and social skills training, as well as a wide variety of community service activities that support many Fremont institutions. We also continue to offer a number of community education courses from mosaics, to Zumba, to line dancing.
If you do not see a course that meets your interests or learning needs, please feel free to contact us at (510) 793-6465.
Feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions you may have at hmcfadden@fusdk12.net. We are so happy to serve you and hope to see you soon!Heidi McFadden
