  • FUSD is aware of the recent trend of threats posted on social media toward California schools and school events regarding “clowning”, a nationwide phenomenon that has developed into an effort to harass communities and disrupt schools.  "Clowning" includes dressing up as a scary clown in an attempt to harass people. The definition is very vague and can include a wide range of threats from minor to serious. While there have been no reports of any threats in Fremont, we are taking this issue very seriously. The safety of our students, staff and families is a top priority and we will remain vigilant to any threat. Any issue will be reported immediately to the Fremont Police Department and together, we will work together to protect our students, staff and facilities. As always, please remind your children to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious persons or activities to their teacher, principal, or school staff member immediately. Thank you for your cooperation.

    Dr. Jim Morris

    Superintendent, FUSD

We have a full recycling station set up daily in the student lunch area. When the students finish lunch, they walk through the station to sort their trash, recyclables and compostable food waste.

We also have stations in the staff lunch room, kitchen service area, office and Adventure Time.
