The mathematics department currently offers 15 courses, which include: Algebra 1, Discovering Geometry, Geometry, Honors Geometry, Business Math, Algebra 2, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Honors Algebra 2 / Trigonometry, Introduction to Statistics, Pre-Calculus, Honors Pre-Calculus, Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC.  A detailed descriptionfor each course is available at www.fremont.k12.ca.us/

Special programs and Information:

Afterschool tutorial:The math department offers an after school tutorial for various subjects every Thursday. A flyer is posted in each of our classrooms detailing the specific room and subject with which tutorial is available.

Algebra1 support:The math department is offering two Algebra 1 support classes this year to help students who need additional help beyond their regular class.

The math department also has a math club that is supervised by Ms. Ludmila Nikolaeva.

Calculators: We recommend our students in the lower division courses (Courses that are below Introduction to Statistic and Pre-Calculus) to have a scientific calculator and our upper division math courses (Pre-Calculus and AP courses) to have a TI-83, TI-84,TI-89, or any other graphing Calculators that are permitted to use for APexams.
