REVISED MAZE DAY SCHEDULE as of 5/2/13
Please open the link below to view MAZE DAY info for August 19th & AUGUST 20th 2013. What is MAZE DAY?? This is an important day for all students attending Horner JHS. You will pick up a packet prior to maze day that contains important information that must be turned in to the school on Maze day and you will have the opportunity to purchase all the necessary and optional items needed for the school year. After you have completed all the items in the packet your student will then be able to obtain his/her class schedule and school ID. Open the link to view your scheduled time. See you then!
IMPORTANT NOTE: A POSTCARD WILL BE MAILED HOME AT THE BEGINNING OF AUGUST WITH THE MAZE DAY INFO.

Horner parents,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    This is to inform you that the Fremont Unified School district has integrated a new phone system district wide.  Please follow the instructions below how to call in for an absence or to reach a staff member.

Horner's phone number: 510-656-4000.  When you call the school you will be prompted with the following choices.

  • You can put in the 5 digit extension if you know it. The ext. for calling in an absence is: 48901
  • Press 7 for the school directory and the prompts are: #1 for attendance (absences), #2 for the counselor, #3 for the registrar, and #0 for the office.
  • Press 8 for the dial by name option.
  • Press 0 to get the office.
 
Parents,
Please note that all students are aware of the "no classroom interruption" policy. We will remind students in our daily bulletin periodically throughout the year to check in the office if they have forgotten their lunch, homework, etc. All vistors dropping off items are required to come to the office. Any bag lunches not claimed will be disposed of at the end of the day and any lunch boxes will be kept in the office for two days and then placed in the lost and found.
