Weibel is buzzing with activity!  During these first weeks of school students are already getting into the routine.  Even the littlest ones know where to line up and how to be responsible for their own belongings, and they are coming to school rested, happy, and ready to learn.  It is a delight to visit classrooms and see how engaged the students are.
Safety Concern
At Weibel, your child's safety is our first concern.  We teach children that only teachers or adults with a badge or official sticker are allowed on campus.  If children are used to seeing adults they do not know on campus, they would not be able to identify a dangerous stranger on the playground. Therefore, we are asking all parents to say goodbye at the gate and to stay off campus before school.  This is an important part of our comprehensive Safety Plan.
As always, parents who are volunteering or who need to talk with office staff must sign in at the office.  If you need to talk to your child's teacher, please call or email the teacher to make an appointment.  The first minutes of the school day are very busy for teachers and they need to focus on the students so this is not the best time to approach them.  Please give the teacher a call, then sign in for your appointment (unless it is after school hours).
Back to School Night:
Back to School Night for Second through Sixth Grades will be on Tuesday, September 16.  See you there!
Back to School Night for TK, K, 1, Rm 12, and Rm 31 was on August 26.
